BESSEMER CITY, NC — Precision Drive Systems (PDS), a global provider of precision motor spindles, expert support, and repair near Charlotte, NC, has announced that it has hired Serafettin Özbayram as a Sales Manager for PDS GmbH in Herford, Germany.
“Serafettin’s technical comprehension, application engineering, and ability to solve customer issues makes him a great addition to PDS GmbH,” said Robert Turk, President of PDS. “His training as a state-certified mechanical engineering technician gives him an excellent understanding of specialized products and often very sophisticated applications. His in-depth knowledge of automation and B2B sales will be immediately apparent to our European customers.” As Sales Manager, Özbayram will secure new business for both products and services for PDS GmbH across the EU.
Serafettin Özbayram has ten years of experience in technical sales, application engineering, and design. He was a project engineer and planner, establishing production requirements and defining appropriate robotic solutions for his customers. Before joining PDS GmbH, he worked in project design, inside sales, and external service as the technical sales representative at Gosewehr Robot Automation GmbH and a technical sales representative for internal and field sales at Westland Gummiwerke GmbH & Co. KG. Özbayram is certified as an industrial mechanic and earned his state certification as a mechanical engineering technician from Felix Fechenbach Vocational College at Detmold in North Rhine-Westphalia.
